We present a dataset of wood, knots and bark extractives from 4 forest species tree grown and processed in the eastern France (Quercus robur, Quercus petraea, Fagus sylvatica, Pseudotsuga menziesii).The data were extracting from an analysis of the scientific literature review (59 articles). The data concern different tissues of the tree (wood, sapwood, heartwood, knot, bark) and provides information on (i) the extraction process used, the chemical content of extracts and extractives determination (ii) the bioactivity of the extracts (iii) the metadata of the extracts. All the data is contained in the 3 export files of the Wood_db-chemistry database at a given time.

We present a dataset of leaf phenology observations on two forest tree species, European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) and silver fir (Abies alba Mill.). Observations were carried out over 14 consecutive years, from 2006 to 2019, on 772 trees distributed in plots along two altitudinal gradients located on Mount Ventoux, France. The dataset and associated metadata are accessible at: https://doi.org/10.15454/TRFMZN. This database can be used to develop phenological models and understand the physiological drivers of phenology.

La flore de 221 placettes réparties sur un réseau systématique dans le massif forestier d'Amance (Meurthe-et-Moselle, France) a été partiellement rééchantilonnée en 2017 (79 placette) après un premier inventaire floristique sur 477 placettes, réalisé en 1971 et 1972 par J. Timbal puis un second réalisé en 1990 par A. Thimonier. L'étude de 2022 a repris le réechantillonnage interrompu en 2017 du fait de la prolifération de chenilles processionnaires du chêne. Une partie des placettes de 2017 a été revisitée et une partie des 221 placettes de A. Thimonier visitées soit au total 164 placettes vues en 2022. La présente étude vise à compléter l'étude de 2022 en revisitant : 1 - les placettes de 1971 de Timbal non vues en 1990 car dans des parcelles en régénération ; 2 - les placettes vues en 2017 non revues en 2022. Le protocole notamment de caractérisation des perturbations sur les placettes est le même qu'en 2022

The datasets describe bacterial and fungal communities of beech leaves collected along a vertical gradient in a gallery forest throughout the season, and communities in the surrounding environment. The data can be used to uncover the dynamics and assembly processes of phyllosphere microbial communities in forest ecosystems.
