Data on the species composition and structure of a 1-hectare forest plot on the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia

We present data from a newly installed 1-ha forest dynamics plot on the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia to characterize tree diversity and composition on the mountain. This data can be used in regional floristics and compositional analyses and help to refine global biomass models.
